What You Need to Know About Antibodies, Infections, and Allergic Reactions

If you have a child that has undergone immune system testing or allergy testing, then you probably know about the term immunoglobins and how they represent the antibodies in the body. 

Did you know that there are classes of immunoglobins in our body that all have a specific function to perform? For example, immunoglobins are antibodies that are produced by the white blood cells in response to an invasion by foreign particles such as bacteria, viruses, fungus, allergens and many more. 

When our body encounters such particles, it provides a defensive response against it to shield the natural cells of our body from getting harmed.
